Not much difference as far as this screenshots has to tell. Once we see any in-game footage, that'll be a better way to judge it. It's good though that it will support force-feedback.
A very good game indeed.
It's about time.
Bad parenting skills is still the no.1 cause of her son's twisted nature, but I also believe the game ( Manhunt ) added fuel to fire-up his frustrations.
We can't just say games ( especially the violent ones ) are'nt part of the problem, yes they are and admit that it's true. Your're all liars and fakes if you don't.
Playin games are nothing like print or the movies, where you only get to read or watch thru the entire story. In it you are part of the experience, you ha...
I DON'T BELIEVE YOU - PLAYABILITY is so much more IMPORTANT than anything else. FEATURES comes second.
Even Forza2 cannot be considered ( TRUE ) sim, nor GranTurismo 3 and all the series before it.
You would'bt be able to know the goings-on behind the making of these games and give-out ( ORDERS ) to justify if the game can be done realistically simulated or go for the arcade approach, or even go the middle ground and mix the two.
It's all about ( COMPROMISES...
He surely is one of the people at Sony Corp. that's giving the brand such a bad name. With that sort of uncertain/bad judgemental comments how could the PS3 survive the copping from a lot of reviewers before.
Which is why this is ( one ) of the reasons the PS3 struggled in sales.
You don't know what your talking about... 30fps, 60fps. Game developers use this features to their advantage depending on the technology that's presented to them at the time, and make certain compromises when adding ( new/innovative ) features.
( PLAY - surely w/PGR4 we can't as of yet, but PGR3 going backwards... ) the game before commenting and ( FEEL and SEE ) the difference with the added features on each series.
Definitely PGR3 ( plays,feel,looks ) so much better tha...
This drawing reminds me of the scythe that Buffy the Vampire Slayer took-off a rock to defeat Caleb and the ubervamps.
It's how you use them to your advantage that makes the final product stand-out. Though Forza 2 looks very good graphically, even PGR3 ( an older title ) outguns it in this department.
Yes you can say they ( Forza 2 ) put all the effort in the availability of a huge number of vehicles and features while on ( PGR3 ) it's mostly to showcase what a next-gen game would look like since it was one of a few titles that started the scene.
Read it on a few recent reviews that damage mode is " still " in the works for GranTurismo 5?
The reason being some of the car manufacturers cannot agree on this issue, also Sony/Polyphony would probably have damage mode available for download only ( ? ).
Getting mixed-up with this portion, so are they telling us that if ever damage mode was implemented ( some/ not all ) the vehicles would actually have this feature when the finished game comes-out - what's g...
Why oh why. It's not fair, if we calculate the cost ( w/out including the distance and PAL - reformat ) 80gb/Motorstorm bundle - US$599 = AU$690, but that is they ever release the 80gb version here soon ( when? )
At the moment a PS3 just on it's own cost a whopping AU$999, if you do trade-ins ( depends on certain games ) it'll retail for AU$799.
By that time Motorstorm/or any old title would be classified as a bargain, which is supposed to retail at a more lower price, ...
Totally different game from the usual Colin McRae series, but still very good - besides the new voice-over navigator which is terrible ( at least hire Nicky Grist - Colin's actual navigator to pace notes for the next installment )
It's much better to just follow the map guide ( top of screen ) than listening to an unreliable and late notes.
Love the fantastic ( 2 ) different types of in-car camera viewpoints, especially when driving a truck/suv there is a screen that cover...
I'm speechless, I am without speech.
An even better news for us who are now anticipating of finally getting one. Nice move Sony, also surely by that time more new titles would be on the shelves and yes - the return of rumble on the sixaxis.
Now we can expect better deals ( bundles included ) and a lot of bargains ( on older/used titles )
Once this game comes-out I will definitely buy a PS3. Think my decision to hold-out for that much longer was a smart move afterall, now that Sony has at last given us a price cut, and later force-feedback will become the norm again, also by then the PS3 would have had added more game titles.
Sony/Polyphony has done a very good job on this one. One word " BENCHMARK " for all the others to follow.
I still hope that finally all ( because I'ved read on some reviews tha...
The most creative screenshots ever. Great shots, some are even quite candid ( shots 14 & 16 ).
Bizzare Creations/PGR4 are true innovators. Very tasteful selections of vehicles and background shots.
Love your work. Kudos.
That really is a great deal - 80gb + Motorstorm + (5) free blu-ray movies for US$599.00 ( in August ) an equivalent of around AU$695-700.00 here in Australia.
Just don't know if we're ever going to have the same treatment as you guys over there in the States/Canada. Because at the moment, for just the PS3 alone ( w/out bundles ), we have to pay AU$900.00+ and to get it down to AU$799.00 that is w/ old or used trade-in games.
Really hope that Sony/PS3 would introduce somet...
Can we all now give Sony a break, at least they are actually doing something positive, which in a way is a ( price drop ).
Thought this is quite a good deal - for $599, you get 80gb + a Motorstorm game, as for the 60gb having a $100 dollars cut in price is not bad at all. Yes you could instead get a new game for that now.
Stop with the complaining already.
They're saying it's not rumble afterall, but it's still a very good bargain.
It's called reverse engineering for all techies out there, or just sheer curiousity for most of us.
But truly a total overhaul for the sixaxis should really be done, it's been that way since the original PS1 days.
